On December 31, 2004, and again on January 6, 2005 and January 8, 2005, History Channel Television and The Biography Channel aired an episode of the popular television show "MANHUNT" entitled "The Hunt For Abbie Hoffman".

Steven Rambam, Pallorium's Senior Director, was honored to be a featured investigative expert interviewed for this episode. Mr. Rambam, a recognized expert on locating missing persons and fugitives, and on international and multi-jurisdictional investigations, was interviewed in all three segments of the show.

On Tuesday August 28, 1973 record high temperatures shut down elevators in Manhattan's Diplomat Hotel. Two drug buyers had to walk up ten flights of stairs to complete a deal for cocaine that was only 17 per cent pure. Real dealers might have killed the seller for the low quality, but these were Queen's Borough narcotics Officers arresting 60's political folk hero Abbie Hoffman for dealing three pounds of the drug. Two weeks later Hoffman skipped bail and became the subject of a seven-year MANHUNT.
